Ireland and Scotland are set to travel to the Netherlands for a tri-nation T20I series in May, Ahead of the T20 World Cup starting from 1 June 2024 In USA & West Indies.
The series will be played from 18 to 24 May in Amstelveen before the brigades head to the USA and the West Indies for the T20 World Cup festival.
At the last edition of the T20 World Cup in 2022 in Australia, all three brigades featured in the first round of matches, which was divided into two groups of four brigades each. The top two brigades from each group progressed to the Super 12s, still, Scotland failed to qualify after finishing third in Group B.
Ireland settled a palm over the eventual titleholders England by a periphery of five runs on the DLS system. Meanwhile, the Netherlands won two matches, including a notorious triumph that excluded South Africa from the tournament. All three nations ’ High-Performance officers expressed the significance of this assignment, noting its part in enriching their medications for the forthcoming T20 World Cup.
