Venue Details:
Kensington Oval is the oldest cricket ground in Barbados. It was made back in 1882 when the Pickwick Cricket Club rented 4 acres of land from Kensington Plantation to make a cricket field and a clubhouse. In 1914, the Barbados Cricket Committee, which is now known as the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA), bought the Oval. Even after buying it, they let Pickwick keep using the ground until 2004. The BCA put a lot of money into making the ground better over the years. By 2004, it had grown to just over 7 acre.
