USA plans to hold watch parties for T20 WC 2024 at NYC’s World Trade Center

The huge viewership of 1.3 billion in the last Cricket World Cup 2022 has developed a great interest in cricket in mild-cricket-playing nations like the USA. Now they are seeing big business opportunities in cricket. The USA is lagging forward to this and trying to make it as big as they can. Cricket World Cup 2024 is co-hosted by the USA along with West Indies this year. 16 out of 54 matches will be played here including the biggest clash of the world cup Pakistan vs. India match in 2024.

So that is why the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has announced to hold a free watch party for the T20 World Cup in 2024. This is very exciting news for cricket fans residing in the US.

The watch parties will start with the host team match with Canada and continue until the final of the Cricket World Cup 2024.

Fans would be able to enjoy food from nearby restaurants and shops like Oculus Beer Garden and Westfield World Trade Center shops. There would also be a lightning event to amuse the spectators by ICC and Oculus collaboration. The face painting stations, fan accessories stalls, and trophy display events will also spark the environment.

The presence of crickets for every match day is also included in the watch parties menu which will be a great opportunity for the fans to callable and meet their favorite cricketing stars live.

Note: In case of severe weather conditions, plans might change.
